Product

Is the BrickBox available in colours other than white?
No, the BrickBox is only available in white.

Can the BrickBox be made to measure?
Yes, but only for orders of 30 units or more. Send us your measurements and we will provide you with the exact cost. Keep in mind that a custom-built BrickBox will be approximately 25% more expensive than the standard design (in addition to the cost of extra materials).

Can doors be used with any BrickBox?
No, doors can only be used with those BrickBox units sold from 10 February 2014 and later.

Do the BrickBox and related accessories (doors, feet and wheels) come with the screws required for assembly?
Yes.

How are BrickBox shelves held in place?
The shelves come with metal supports which you insert into pre-drilled holes in the sides of the unit.

Is the BrickBox water-resistant?
The BrickBox is designed for indoor use and is not resistant to rain. It may be cleaned with a damp cloth.

How do I clean the BrickBox?
It can be cleaned with a damp cloth, using either water or a cleaning product. We do not recommend the use of solvents.

Are the sides of the BrickBox treated with varnish or paint?
No, the sides of the boards are of natural, polished wood. If you wish to highlight the colour of the wood and protect it from dirt you may rub it with olive oil using a cloth.

Can the BrickBox be assembled on uneven flooring?
We do not recommend the installation of the BrickBox on floors which vary in level by more than 5mm for each large unit (54 cms).

Can the BrickBox withstand tremors from an earthquake?
It depends on the intensity of the tremors. Units may come loose and fall in earthquakes stronger than 3 on the Richter scale.

Is the table in the video available for purchase?
No, we have decided not to produce it as it would have been too costly.

Assembly

How is the BrickBox assembled?
Each unit is delivered with printed instructions for assembly. Assembly is very easy –only a screwdriver is required. (An electric screwdriver is recommended)

How long will it take me to assemble each BrickBox?
Expect each unit to take 2 to 3 minutes using an electric screwdriver or 5 to 6 using a manual screwdriver.

Can doors be installed on any BrickBox?
No, they can only be installed on BrickBoxes purchased on 10 February 2014 or later.

How are the doors installed?
The doors include instructions for installation.

Delivery

Is delivery included in the price?
The cost of delivery is included in the price if you order 10 units or more. A delivery surcharge of €25 is added to orders of fewer than 10 units.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
Typically you will receive your order within the following timeframes:
Spain and Portugal: 3 working days following payment
France, Germany, Italy, Belgium and Holland: between 4 and 5 working days following payment
United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic and Hungary: between 6 and 7 working days following payment
Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia: between 8 and 10 working days following payment

Will the delivery company call ahead of time to set up a delivery time?
The delivery company will attempt delivery without prior notice. If you are not at home you will be called to set up a delivery time.

Where will my order be delivered to?
The delivery company is required to deliver the order to the door of your building. In other words, the delivery company is not required to carry the order up stairs should you live in an apartment.

What happens if my order is damaged?
You need to indicate any damage on the delivery note provided by the delivery company and send us pictures of the damaged units. We will ensure you receive replacement units as soon as possible and at no additional cost.

May I collect my order at your Barcelona workshop?
Yes, but only during the morning (9 AM-2 PM) Monday through Friday and only once your order is paid. Send us an email and we will provide you with the address of our workshop in Poble Nou (Barcelona).

Warranty and returns

What happens if my order is damaged?
You need to indicate any damage on the delivery note provided by the delivery company and send us pictures of the damaged units. We will ensure you receive replacement units as soon as possible and at no additional cost.

May I return the order if I am not satisfied with the product?
Yes, you may return the order in its original packaging. We will reimburse you the purchase price, discounting the cost of shipping in both directions.

May I return a custom-built order?
No.

How long do I have to return the order?
You may return your order within 6 months of receipt, provided that it is still in its original packaging.

What happens if I receive a defective BrickBox? 
Our product undergoes a strict quality control process, nonetheless, should you receive a defective unit, send us a photograph and we will send a replacement unit as soon as possible and at no additional cost.

Paiment

May I pay using a credit card?
No. The only means of payment are PayPal or bank transfer.

If I pay by bank transfer do I need to send confirmation of payment? 
If you pay by bank transfer we recommend that you send us your proof of payment as this allows us to process and send out your order faster.

Countries outside of the european economic community

What if I wish to purchase BrickBox and I am not in Europe, the USA, Canada or Australia?
Contact us and we will confirm with you the exact cost of sending BrickBox to your country. It is more costly to deliver our product outside of Europe – for this reason we have distributors in the USA, Canada and Australia.
We are seeking out commercial partners in Turkey, Israel, Russia, China, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.

What do you require of potential BrickBox distributors?
You must have a company specialised in either home decoration or furnishings. If you do not have a physical presence then you must demonstrate experience in online sales. You must also be able to purchase a minimum of 500 units. Before negotiating you will need to send us your web address so that we can evaluate your business.

If I do not live in the EEC (European Economic Community) do I have to pay the 21% VAT?
No, when we confirm the cost your order we will discount the 21% VAT. You will have to pay the corresponding VAT (value-added tax) applicable in your country upon delivery.

Why do non-EEC residents have to pay €50 in customs’ fees?
This is the amount we are charged by our delivery company to cover the cost of complying with export regulations.
